FORT WAYNE, Indiana (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – It’s Halloween at the Barn Friday night at the Shadarobah Horse Rescue and it’s all for a good cause.

This is a family event that offers Trick-or-Treating with the horses. All horses and handlers will be in full costume for the event. All proceeds will go to provide financial assistance to the rescue efforts at Shadarobah.

There are currently 30 horses in need of medical attention and nutritional assistance at the Horse Rescue. There is a big need for hay to feed all of the horses as we approach winter.

Cost is $5.00 for trick-or-treaters and $1.00 for everyone else. There will be trick-or-treating at each horse stall and an additional activity for each participant.

Shadarobah Horse Rescue is located at 10113 Goshen Road in Fort Wayne. It is about a mile south of Carroll Road. The event runs from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.
