PIKE COUNTY, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) -- After only two months in service, the new stretch of I-69 is starting to sink.

According to a representative of INDOT, the stretch of roadway in Pike County was expected to settle since it is built over a coal mine.

Governor Mike Pence says he guarantees the remaining phases of I-69 will be completed as planned. He will speak with the Indiana Department of Transportation on the sinking issues and their plans for repair.

Many Hoosiers are left wondering how the state will resolve this issue.
