Gas Station Robber Takes Plea Deal for 24-Year Sentence

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) -A Fort Wayne man changed his plea to guilty in a string of local robberies.

26-year-old Joshua Jackson pleaded guilty to four felony robbery charges, including the armed robbery at a BP gas station on Coliseum Boulevard in December.

Jackson held police off for three hours before he was forcibly arrested inside a home on Franklin Avenue.

The plea deal calls for Jackson to be sentenced to 34-years with 10-suspended.

He also has a charge pending for a bank robbery in Huntington County.
