Gas Prices 20 Cents Below National Average (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- Fort Wayne area gas prices have fallen 20.4 cents per gallon in the past week. We are now at an average of $3.38 per gallon.

According to GasBuddy.com, the national average right now is $3.58 which has fallen 5 cents this past week.

Fort Wayne's $3.38 average is 54.7 cents per gallon lower than this time a year ago and 37.2 cents lower than a month ago.

Anderson, South Carolina has the cheapest gas at $2.99.

Barring a big hurricane or major refinery troubles, analysts say lower gas prices should be the norm through Labor Day.
