DETROIT, Mich. (21Alive) -- General Motors has announced six new safety recalls affecting 7.6 million vehicles from model years of 1997 through 2014.
The issue stems with the continued discovery of faulty ignition switches where the switch inadvertently rotates into the off position.
In a statement released by GM, CEO Mary Barr said : “Our customers deserve more than we delivered in these vehicles. That has hardened my resolve to set a new industry standard for vehicle safety, quality and excellence.”
