FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - While many people will be watching Super Bowl XLVII on big screen televisions this Sunday, the hard work of one local restaurant manager has earned him two highly coveted tickets to the big game in New Orleans.

In less than a decade, Steve True worked his way up the corporate ladder at Papa John's Pizza. He started as a driver, and now works as general manager at the Auburn and Warsaw Papa John's restaurants.

This year, True was nominated for Papa John's General Manager of the Year from the Midwest region. Three general managers from other regions are also in the running, in addition to one international general manager.

The nomination was based on outstanding customer service, product quality and sales growth.

True and the four other nominees are being rewarded for their hard work with tickets to Super Bowl XLVII at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.

The group will board a plane on Friday and get the star treatment at Saturday's awards show. On Sunday, they'll get into the official tailgate party before watching the game from the 50 yard line.

"Just being there at the big game, that's been a lifelong dream of mine to go to the Superbowl," says True. "I think it's going to be great. I'm not going to predict the winner, but I will say that the Ravens are my choice. I would love to see them win."

True will also have a chance to do some sight seeing before returning to Indiana on Monday.

He says, while he won't know if he's won the competition for General Manager of the Year until late March, he is incredibly thankful to his loyal customers and dedicated employees for helping him get this far.
