Fort Wayne, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - The Freedom Riders of Fort Wayne hosted a charity motorcycle ride Sunday afternoon.

The were riding for Sheperd's House, a local shelter that houses homeless veterans and helps them overcome life controlling issues.

The motorcyclists headed out from Quaker Steak & Lube on Coliseum Blvd., rode through Kendalville and New Haven, and finished up by riding right past the Sheperd House where the veterans they were riding for lined the streets and cheered them on.

Riders say they love getting together to ride, but love it even more when they are riding for a good cause.

Quaker Steak donated 15% of it's food sales to the Sheperd House.
