Four Shootings Happen Overnight

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) – Four separate shootings happened all in one night.

Initial reports indicate the shootings happened Friday night around 11. One was in the 4700 block of Hanna Street and another near the intersection of Anthony Boulevard and McKinnie Avenue where a woman was reportedly shot in the arm.

Around 1 a.m. Saturday near Creighton Avenue, a man was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound to his hip.

And, at 1:45 a.m., witnesses told police they heard nearly 20 gun shots near Lafayette and Wildwood Avenue. Police found several vehicles with multiple gunshots.

Fort Wayne Police had no other information. We will update this story when we find out more.
