Four Indiana Doctors Arrested In DEA Raid (VIDEO)

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (21Alive) -- DEA officials have arrested four doctors this morning in central Indiana as part of a several month long investigation.

RTV6 reports that 11 people, including 4 doctors, were arrested during multiple raids in Delaware, Hamilton, Howard, and Wayne counties. The arrests were made on charges of dealing a synthetic heroin substitute Suboxone.

The 4 doctors arrested were:

-Dr. Larry Ley, of Noblesville. Charged with 11 felonies.
-Dr. George Agapios, of Fishers. Charged with 5 felonies.
-Dr. Ronald Vierk, of Richmond. Charged with 2 felonies.
-Dr. Luella Bangura, of Lafayette. Charged with 4 felonies.

Investigators say that patients were able to get suboxone without a physical examination if they just paid $120. 27 undercover buys were made during the course of the investigation, according officials.
