Fort Wayne's Sycamore Hills Ready To Host Junior PGA Championship

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Some of the best young golfers in the world are in Fort Wayne for the Junior PGA Championship.

156 of the best male and female golfers will tee it up at Sycamore Hills starting Monday morning. Sunday night, former LPGA Superstar Annika Sorenstam will speak at the player's welcome dinner.

Many local leaders worked to land the prestigious event and tournament directors are thrilled with the course.

Along with exposure, the weeklong event is expected to bring big dollars into the community.

Practice rounds start Saturday morning and the tournament is free to the public.
