FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - It was a record-breaking year for Fort Wayne Smallet's Winner.

Not only did the contestants set a weight loss record this season, but the program also set a new record for giving back to the community.

Season No. 7 culminated with $7,600 raised from every FWSW. The money is donated to numerous local charities.

In 2014, the charities represented were Hope Medical Missions, Run For Riley and the Blue Ball Open.

21Alive's & NBC33's Kent Hormann organized the Blue Ball Open, which raises money and awareness for prostate cancer research.

The Smallest Winner program wraps up another season at next month's Fort4Fitness half-marathon.
