Fort Wayne Firefighter Suffers Minor Injuries At House Fire

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- A Fort Wayne Fire fighter suffered minor injuries while fighting a house fire Tuesday evening.

The fire department was called to the 1200 block of Lexington Avenue just before 6 p.m.

They say it took an aggressive attack to get the blaze under control. The back porch and kitchen area sustained heavy fire and smoke damage. No one was home at the time.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
