FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) – Some Supermen took to their bikes at Parkview Field, in downtown Fort Wayne.

It was the Fifth Annual Parkview Cycling Festival, put on by the Men of Steel racing club, on Sunday. The festival features eight different bike races, sanctioned by USA Cycling.

The event was the first major, non-baseball event at the stadium and hundreds of cyclists head back, year after year, to challenge themselves.

Organizers say it's also a great way to show off a bicycle-friendly Summit City.

"Fort Wayne is very cycling friendly. This gives people the opportunity to see the extremes you can do. It's just about riding the trails, it's also going out and riding hard at the same time,” said Jim Kruse, Director of Men of Steel Racing.

The festival also offered races for kids, a bike show and swap meet.
