FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Corn dogs, lemonade, elephant ears and a spin on the Ferris wheel.
That sounds like an average day at the Three Rivers Festival but fun and games can add up quickly.
Junk Food Alley is a must do for most residents.
But the price of fair food can add up quickly.
Most food and dessert items cost between three to seven dollars.
Drinks cost between two to five dollars.
Fort Wayne Resident Dennis Douglass estimated that $10 dollars per person would be enough to get a good meal.
Meanwhile, Douglass and most other festival goers will stop by the Midway.
Most rides and games cost between three to five dollars.
"Price plays a factor, in the fact that we don't come more than we do. It's kind of a tradition to come down at least one day. I don't mind spending a little bit of money," said Fort Wayne Father Dennis Douglass.
Douglass attended the Three Rivers Festival Midway & Junk Food Alley with his wife and son.
He said he spent $20 dollars on rides.
Meanwhile, Indiana's NewsCenter spoke with several other festival goers.
A general estimate for a family of four was calculated to about $60 dollars.
However, festival goers said it is easy to spend more than $15 dollars per family members if someone really likes fair food or midway rides.
The Three Rivers Festival runs until Saturday night, when thousands of people will pour into downtown to watch the Fireworks Finale.
