Facebook Now Says It's 'OK' to Edit Your Posts

June 22, 2012 Updated Jun 22, 2012 at 11:22 AM EST

INTERNET (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – Facebook’s update on Thursday is now letting users edit their comments after posting.

Up until now, the only thing Facebook would let you do to correct the error was to delete the comment and start again.

The edit option appears in the form of a small pencil icon on the right side of your comment. Clicking on the pencil will bring up a drop-down menu with the option to edit your comment as well as the option to delete it entirely.

So whether your fingers got ahead of your brain or you’re simply a bad speller. Your errors don’t have to live on forever.
