FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Fort Wayne Community School Board Member Kevin Brown appeared in court Wednesday morning to be sentenced for his drunken driving case.

53-year-old Kevin Brown was sentenced to 10 days home detention and also a 180 day drivers license suspension.

Earlier this month Brown pleaded guilty to having his blood-alcohol level over the legal limit when he was pulled over in September for not using a turn signal or having a license plate.

Brown was elected to the board in 2006, but lost re-election last month.
