INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- The elimination of class basketball in the Hoosier State may be a possibility but not this year.

The Indiana High School Athletic Association has agreed to study the possibility.

The class system was adopted by the IHSAA In the late 1990’s dividing schools according to size.

Senator Mike Delph has introduced a bill eliminating the class system.

Delph says the IHSAA will hold an internal review and will hold hearings statewide concerning the issue.
