Allen County, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Election Day is 29-days away but if you don't want to wait to vote... you can vote early, as long as you're registered and have a photo ID.

Beginning Monday, October 8th, residents can vote early in the Hoosier state.

Plenty of people take advantage of early voting, for scheduling reasons or because they've already made up their minds.

Tuesday, October 9th, is the final day to register, if you plan to vote in November.

In the last presidential election, in 2008, the Allen County Election Board saw just over 400 people vote early on the first day and that number is expected to be surpassed for the 2012 election.
