FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) -- The drunk driver who rammed into five vehicles in September has been sentenced to 11 years with seven of those suspended in an Allen County Courtroom.

29-year-old Gabriel Biddle crashed into four minivans at the intersection of Maplecrest & Evard Roads Sept. 27 at around 2:40 p.m. Police say that his blood-alcohol content was 0.52%, more than six times the legal limit.

Biddle will also have to pay $48,000 in restitution and his license will be suspended for five years.

After Biddle rear-ended a car waiting at the stop-light, he was taken to the hospital in serious condition. It was there, that they tested his blood alcohol content.
