KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - Names of the four school bus drivers in Wednesday's crash along S.R. 13 have been released.
Officials with the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department have determined that Cynthia K. Routh, 64, was the first bus, who stopped to allow children to exit her bus. David W. Granger, 63, was following behind Routh. Julie K. Close, 47, was the third bus driver, directly behind Granger. The final and fourth bus was driven by John R. Wagoner, 61. Wagoner was airlifted to a local hospital from the scene of the accident with serious injuries.
Officials say Wagoner was out of surgery from last night and is listed in stable and fair condition from internal injuries.
Officers say they have not been advised by Wawasee Community School officials if the number of injured students has increased.
The crash is still under thorough investigation at this time.
