RICHMOND, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - A driver has ruined a Richmond business in a texting and driving crash, just days after a new ban on texting and driving took effect.

21-year-old Lucas Harrison's car jumped a curb and plowed right through the storefront Tuesday.

Harrison wasn't hurt, but reports say he admitted he was texting at the time.

He was cited under the state's new distracted driving law.
