Developing: 3-Week-Old Infant In Serious Condition

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- Fort Wayne Police are investigating an incident that left a 3-week-old infant in serious condition.

Police were called to the Colony Bay Apartments just before 1 p.m. Friday. Initial reports indicate the mother was sleeping with the baby when a sibling under the age of five picked up the child and dropped it. The infant was taken to the hospital with head injuries.
