ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - The Allen County Democratic Party announced that it has filled the vacancy for the Council At-Large ballot by naming George Guido as an official Democratic candidate.

"On Council, I'll be a strong voice for citizens from every corner of our great city" said George Guido. "I'm excited to knock on doors, reach out to residents, and share my vision for the future of Fort Wayne."

"We're very excited that Mr. Guido is our candidate for Council At Large," said Allen County Chairman Mike Bynum. "George has the full backing of our party, and we're very confident he'll be a strong advocate for middle class families, residents and local businesses."

The Council At-Large candidate had been Tommy Schrader, but Schrader admitted to moving to Wisconsin and taking part in the Wisconsin Primary. The Allen County Election Board ruled that Schrader should be removed from the ballot.
