INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) -- The walk out by Indiana House Democrats will continue on through the weekend.
Democrats refused to come to the floor today, despite republican assurances that they would be allowed to vote on putting right to work to a public referendum.
Thursday night democrats came up with what they believe is a way to answer the republican belief that a referendum on right to work would be unconstitutional because only the legislature can enact a law.
Their plan calls for right to work to become law on November 5th, but to be repealed if the public doesn't vote to save it on November 6th, Election Day.
