Dean-Of-Sports Recognized In ISSA Hall of Fame

INDIANAPOLIS (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Indiana’s NewsCenter is proud to announce that “INC icon” Dean Pantazi is now a sports hall-of-famer!

Dean was inducted into the Indiana Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association Hall of Fame in Indianapolis on Saturday.

During his 37-year career, Dean has covered 5 Komets championships, 2 Super Bowl appearances by the Colts, the birth and re-birth of professional baseball and basketball in Fort Wayne, and countless high school state championships.

But Dean says one of his most memorable events was covering the Super Bowl in 2007 with his son Nick, a former Indiana's NewsCenter videographer.
