DeKalb County Taxes May Be Hiked (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- The DeKalb County Council and Commissioners need more money to pay for their central dispatch center.

But residents might not like the options, since the two proposals involve raising taxes.

The county needs to cover the more than $1 million operating budget of the county's central dispatch center, which handles 911 calls for all police, fire and ambulances in DeKalb county.
