Customer Takes To YouTube To Expose Pizza Delivery Driver's Racial Slurs

SANFORD, Fla. (www.incnow.tv) -- After a pizza delivery man "butt dialed" a customer and left a voice mail complaining about the tip and referencing racial slurs, Papa John's Pizza CEO, John Schnatter released an apology via Facebook.

The incident came to the CEO's attention after the customer posted a video on YouTube showing the pizza delivery receipt and explaining that he and his wife tipped 21-percent, "as usual".

The voice mail, that lasts about four minutes, involves audible derogatory comments referencing the customers race and using racial slurs repeatedly.

John Schnatter wrote the following message on Facebook Monday:

"Friends, I am extremely concerned to learn about the reprehensible language used by two former employees in one of our restaurants. Their thinking and actions defy both my personal and the company's values, and everything for which this company stands. The employees responsible for this absolutely unacceptable behavior were immediately terminated.

My heartfelt apology goes out to the customer involved, his family, and our community at large. I am very sorry that anyone would be exposed to these hurtful and painful words by any person involved in any way with our company.

Thank you for your important comments. I have personally reached out to our customer to share my own thoughts and offer my deepest apology. "

By Tuesday morning the Facebook post had been shared 255 times and had over 1,000 comments.
