FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) – A new committee to review requests for Legacy funding will be further discussed, and possibly approved at tonight's City Council meeting.

Fort Wayne City Council discussed the Mayor’s proposal at last Tuesday's meeting. The Legacy Joint Funding Committee (LJFC) will review and determine if a request is considered "legacy-worthy".

The seven-member committee will be made of three members of the Administration, two from City Council, and two citizen-members – one selected by the mayor and the other by council.

Council preliminarily approved the proposal last Tuesday, but some changes could be made and possibly approved tonight.
