Council Faces Great Opposition On Eliminating Collective Bargaining (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) – There weren't enough hydrants to put out the fire at City Council Tuesday night. Union members turned up the heat on council members who are proposing to get rid of collective bargaining for city unions.

City Councilman John Crawford and Russ Jehl have proposed three ordinances to eliminate city unions' collective bargaining rights.

They say it is a privilege, not a right, and it's an unnecessary expense on the city, but union workers feel otherwise.
