Construction And Detours At An End As Ardmore Reopens

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - After 5-months of construction and detours, Ardmore Avenue in Fort Wayne is finally reopening.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held opening Ardmore to motorists.

The section of road between west Jefferson and Taylor has been widened to 4-lanes following months of construction.

The pavement has also been upgraded, and crews installed new storm sewers, streetlights, and a trail for cyclists.
