BOSTON, Mass. (www.incnow.tv) – Nearly 50-years later, the murder of a Boston woman has been connected to the infamous Boston strangler, Albert Desalvo.

A DNA match has been made between Desalvo and Mary Sullivan, who was raped and murdered in her Boston apartment in 1964.

The forensic evidence lead prosecutors to ask a judge to order that Desalvo's body be exhumed to prove he murdered Sullivan.

Desalvo was sentenced to life in prison and was stabbed to death in 1973.
