Jury Deliberates in Jerry Sandusky Trial, Adopted Son Adds Accusation

Beldfont, Pa. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The jury in the Jerry Sandusky trial got the case, Thursday and now the wait for a verdict begins.

The case took an interesting twist when one of Sandusky's six adopted children went public, Thursday with accusations that Sandusky sexually abused him when he was a child.

According to reports, 33-year-old Matt Sandusky, approached prosecutors claiming that "he is a victim of Jerry Sandusky's abuse." He offered to take the stand on the last day of testimony for the prosecution. Prosecutors rejected the offer.

Sandusky faces 48 charges, accused of molesting ten young boys over a 15-year period.

If convicted, the 68-year-old former defensive coordinator could be sent to prison for the rest of his life.

Sandusky is accused of molesting boys at his home and on campus for more than a decade.
