AUBURN, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Coming up this weekend, the annual Classic Car Auction in Auburn.
Indiana's NewsCenter was allowed a sneak peek at the newly renovated Auburn Auction Park, as well as some of the more than 1,000 cars for sale.
Auctions America by RM bought the former Kruse Auction Company two months ago, and executives’ say they're ready for the thousands of people the Classic Car Auction will bring.
Donnie Gould with Auctions America by RM says, “There's not really a square inch of this park that hasn't been touched from the grass in the parking lot and the surrounding property to re-coating a million square feet of asphalt to painting the buildings. Literally gutting every bit of all the electricity or electrical work that had been done in the past that wasn't up to our standards.”
The auction runs Thursday through Sunday.
The car of the event is a Duesenberg, which could fetch up to a million dollars.
