City's Latest Shooting Leaves Victim Hospitalized (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) – A shooting Friday night leaves one person in serious condition.

Fort Wayne Police were called to the intersection of Smith and Emily Streets, near the Pontiac Mall, on reports of shots fired just before 9 p.m. Friday.

When police arrived, they found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a local hospital in serious condition.

Initial reports indicate the suspect is a black male and may have been driving a dark colored SUV.

Police are continuing to investigate.
