ORLANDO, Fla. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) -The jury has finished their deliberations and announced the verdict in the courtroom Tuesday afternoon.

The jury ruled that 25-year-old Casey Anthony is Not Guilty of either first degree murder or manslaughtering her 2-year-old daughter Caylee in 2008.

The jury did find Anthony guilty on four counts of providing false information to law enforcement.

Defense attorneys had claimed Caylee accidentally drowned and that Casey's father helped cover up the death.

Prosecutors say Casey knocked Caylee out with chloroform, suffocated with duct tape and then stored Caylee’s body in the trunk of her car before leaving the remains in a wooded area.

After almost three years in jail it's possible Judge Belvin Perry could sentence the 25-year-old to time served on the only four counts she was convicted of- making false statements to police.
