FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- Many were shaving their heads at Canterbury High School Saturday afternoon, all for a good cause.

"Unlock Yourself" hosted the event, to raise money for childhood cancer research. With a goal of raising a few thousand dollars, 10 participants registered to take the clippers to their heads.

“Events like this are a huge part of raising money to sponsor and to encourage research that's being done right now. And actually a lot of research is being done and it's a really exciting time,” Eveangeline Smith, Volunteer Organizer.
