INDIANA (Indiana's NewsCenter) - A legal challenge has been made against Indiana Secretary of State Elect Charlie White.

The Indiana Democratic Party filed a petition contesting Whites eligibility to serve in office.

White defeated Democratic Candidate Vop Osili in the General Election.

The move comes as two special prosecutors consider allegations of voter fraud against White for voting in the wrong district during the primary.

White could face a Class D felony if charges are pressed. A conviction could remove him from office.
