Bomb Threat Investigated Outside Applebee's on N. Clinton (NBC33 VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (NBC33) - Investigators with the Fort Wayne police and bomb squad responded to a call Monday morning regarding a "suspicious package" found outside the Applebee's restaurant on North Clinton Street.

The call came in around 10:00am.

Landscapers working on the property saw what they described as a "cylinder-shaped item" in a tree behind the restaurant and immediately called police.
