Vacant Home Body ID'd and Named 24th Homicide for Allen County

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The body of the man found in a vacant home on the city’s south side has been identified by the Allen County Coroner’s Officer Wednesday afternoon.

The Coroner’s Officer identified the body as 18-year-old Deonta T. Bonner of Fort Wayne. According to the coroner’s investigation Bonner was stabbed in the chest and will be named the 24th homicide in Allen County in 2012.

Bonner’s body was located in the back yard of a vacant home in the 2900 block of Weisser Park Avenue in Fort Wayne just after 11 a.m. Tuesday.
