BLUFFTON, Ind. (21Alive) -- Monday morning Bluffton High School was evacuated after a note indicating a bomb threat was found in the bathroom just before 10 a.m.

Police and school officials reviewed security tapes and were able narrow down the suspects of the threat to two students. Police arrested a 16-year-old female and 19-year-old Ashley Tierney.

According to the Bluffton-Harrison MSD Superintendent, Wayne Barker, both girls are transfer students this year and have been to multiple schools during their educational career. No clear motive was given.

Tierney is expected to appear in court Thursday.
