Aeta Green, IND. (Indiana's NewsCenter) --- UPDATE: Kosciusko County Sheriff’s detectives have arrested two suspects involved in Friday morning’s bank robbery in Etna Green, Indiana after numerous tips from Kosciusko County citizens.
The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department detectives arrested 19-year-old Brady Lee Shepherd from Mentone, Ind. with felony robbery. Detectives also arrested 22-year-old Douglas Blaine Jordan from Warsaw, with felony assisting a criminal.
Both men are currently being held without bond in the Kosciusko County Jail by the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office.
Officer’s believe Shepherd entered the Etna Green branch of the PNC bank on Friday around 9:29 a.m. and robbed the bank of an undisclosed amount of money.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Detectives received information late Friday night that the suspects were in the area of Lozier's Mobile Home Park at Chapman Lake in Warsaw.
Kosciusko County Sheriff's Deputies along with Drug Task Force, Claypool, Warsaw and Winona Lake K-9 units took Shepherd and Jordan into custody without incident.
Shepherd originally stated he had "over-dosed" on pills and was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital, but was later transported to the Kosciusko County Jail.
Officers also located the 2008 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck that was used as the “get-away” vehicle from the bank robbery that had been stolen earlier Friday morning from Warsaw.
