Indiana BMV Warns Of Insurance Scammers

INDIANA (www.incnow.tv) -- Officials with the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles are warning people of scammers presenting themselves as BMV representatives and making an insurance pitch.

According to the BMV Commissioner, the scammers are claiming to be from the license branch offering to reduce the auto insurance rates of customers.

The commissioner says at no time would the BMV ever contact customers about insurance rates.
