Assistant Principal Formally Charged With Drug Possession Appears in Court

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - A suspended Fort Wayne school official appeared in court Thursday morning, facing drug charges.

Shadwaynn Curry is now scheduled to stand trial on May 22nd for possession of pot, possession of cocaine, possession of paraphernalia, and maintaining a common nuisance.

She was arrested last November and charged with marijuana and cocaine possession.

Curry was an assistant principal at Memorial Park Middle School at the time, but was suspended after the arrest.
