Armed Robbery At Gas Station On Lima Road (PHOTOS)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- Police in Fort Wayne are investigating an armed robbery at the Lassus Handy Dandy on the 5900 Block of Lima Road.

It happened at around 3:30AM Thursday morning. An employee at the gas station told police that he was approached by a black male who said he had a gun, but reportedly never showed it.

The suspect got away with an undetermined amount of money. The gas station employee was not harmed in the incident. According to scanner traffic, surveillance camera footage shows a man fitting the suspect's description lingering outside the gas station before the robbery.

Police have also spent time, Thursday morning, investigating a vehicle parked in the parking lot of the Quality Inn on the 1700 block of Washington Center Road. They believe the vehicle belonged to the suspect.

No arrests have been made in the case.
