Armed Robbery At Pettit Avenue Shoe Show

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) – The Fort Wayne Police Department is currently investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Shoe Show on Pettit Avenue Wednesday night.

Two black males appearing to be in the 20s posing as shoppers approached the cashier at the checkout presented a handgun and demanded money.

The first suspect is described as 6’3”, 215- 220 pounds, dark skinned and wearing a light-tan coat, white t-shirt with lettering and a tan baseball cap.

The second suspect is described as 5’11”, medium colored skin and wearing a red hat with the letter ‘A’ on the front, dark brown coat and blue jeans.

If anyone recognizes the two suspects or has information regarding the investigation police ask that you contact CrimeStoppers at 260/436-STOP.
