Another Hoosier Navistar Plant Closes, Work to Stay In Indiana

UNION CITY, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Company officials with Navistar say they will shut down the Workhorse Custom Chassis Factory in Union City this fall, leaving about 225-people without jobs.

A Navistar spokeswoman says the work will be moved to a Navistar plant in the state.

The plant here in Fort Wayne is closing in stages with the work to be moved to Lisle, Illinois.
