Amish Teen Drowns After Falling into Pigeon River

LAGRANGE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Conservation officers say a 16-year-old boy apparently drowned after falling in the Pigeon River at Ontario Dam around 6:30 Wednesday night.

Investigators says the Amish teen, Felty Bontrager, who could not swim fell in at the boat ramp, his 12-year-old brother who witnessed the incident attempted to rescue him but was unable to.
