American Aid Workers Battle Ebola Infection: Is It A Wakeup Call For U.S.?

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21ALIVE) --- The future looks brighter for a pair of American missionary workers, who've been treated with an experimental drug to battle the deadly Ebola virus.

U.S. health officials decided to allow them to return to the states to help with their recovery.

Local health officials say the Ebola scare is more proof that troubles cropping up in developing countries are not just their problem.
