Alleged Stun Gun Robber Appears in Court

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – The Fort Wayne man accused of tasing a Kroger employee during a robbery pleaded not guilty to the crimes in an Allen County court Wednesday morning.

Billye Gaulden is charged with robbery, two counts of resisting law enforcement, using a stun gun in the commission of a crime, and being a habitual offender.

Police say he's the one who attempted to rob the Kroger.

When Gaulden began to leave the Kroger, police say he used a taser on a store employee who tried to stop him.

Gaulden was on release from another criminal case, and is being held without bond.
