ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - 50-year-Old Edward Kinslow learned his trial for murder, felony murder and rape will be postponed until August.

He had been scheduled to go to trial this week.

He's been held without bail, after concerned family and friends called police last May to check on 46-year-old Darlene Day, who hadn't been seen for a while.

Officers found her beaten and bloodied body in a home in the 3400 block of Alexander Street.

Police say Kinslow and Day had known each other for a long time.
